We first started our Farm in 2022. Gus went out of town on a fishing trip and came home to 2 show cows, one Brownswiss and one Aryshire. We had no buckets, no feed, no halters, nothing! He got home from his trip and we ran to the store and got everything that we knew we needed and went to the farm and figured everything out. that next weekend, Gus went and bought another Aryshire. Those were the only Dairy cows that we had to show with our first year. We slowly started buying Angus cows to have a beef cow herd. We got through our first year, had our daughter and then started buying more and more dairy cows. We knew we wanted to start the herdshare for quite some time but we never did it. One day, we decided it was time, we wanted to start our herdshare. We went and picked up Sage, started feeding her non-soy, non GMO feed, waited a few months and then officially started our herdshare!
